This privacy policy describes ShelleyATtheMic’s policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of data.  

You and your data

This site does not automatically capture personal data, other than by standard logging (IP address, browser type etc.) for anonymous statistical/hit rate purposes. There are however, certain areas in which you will be asked to provide personal data. This may include but is not limited to: 

• Your name
• Your company
• Your email address
• Your telephone number
• Usage data

Such data is provided on a voluntary basis but may be essential so in order to contact you to fulfil your request or respond to your enquiry.

In each case, the data you provide is used for the purpose which is explained to you at the time including: 

• To provide the service you’ve registered interest in
• To provide customer service and support
• To send relevant email and communications
• To assess the usage data in relation to services provided by ShelleyATtheMic
• For the purposes of communicating, re-marketing or updating you on services which may be of interest

Rest assured that the information you provide will only be used by ShelleyATtheMic and will not be forwarded to any other organisation without your permission. 

Booking a voice over 

When making a booking you will be requested to provide your full company name and address, contact information, and details of your project including the script. Scripts are not treated as confidential unless specifically indicated. Where a project contains sensitive information, it is recommended you submit an NDA to be signed. Please ensure that confidential documents are marked as such on each page of the document (for example in the header and/or footer).

Resultant recordings are normally delivered via email or file transferring service, as selected by the client. Contact details, project details, scripts and recordings are normally kept on file to assist in processing a client’s future projects or pickups/re-records but will be deleted six months after the initial booking. An archiving service is not provided so please keep a copy of recordings yourself, as older scripts and recordings are deleted. 

Information Protection

ShelleyATtheMic will protect personal information supplied by using reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. The security of your data is important but it must be clear that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
